Salisbury Hospice Jail & Bail Raises Over £21,500 in Second Year Fundraiser

For the second year running, Salisbury’s business community went behind bars – this time raising over £21,500 to support Salisbury Hospice. Six local entrepreneurs, including Chamber President Andy North, embraced playful “arrests” for lighthearted “crimes” and successfully solicited donations to secure their releases.

Andy North, dubbed the “Positivity Perpetrator,” exceeded his personal bail goal by raising £2,450, thanks in part to some very serious legal counsel from Paddington Bear – who offered trademark politeness and marmalade fuelled encouragement before the big day.

Hosted in Salisbury’s escape rooms police cells, the fundraiser showcased the strong bonds among Salisbury’s business leaders. From networking masterminds to retail innovators, participants tapped into their networks and rallied community support, turning a bit of fun into meaningful funds.

Their combined efforts underscore the solidarity and generosity at the heart of Salisbury’s business scene. The money raised will ensure Salisbury Hospice can continue delivering vital end-of-life care and family support throughout South Wiltshire.
