Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry held its Annual General Meeting this week, bringing together members, partners and local stakeholders to reflect on a successful year and set out its plans for the year ahead.
Hosted by Chamber President Andy North, the AGM was a chance to acknowledge the work of the Chamber’s committees, celebrate the achievements of its growing membership, and look forward to future objectives designed to deliver even greater impact.
Key highlights from the meeting included:
Continued growth in membership, with consistent monthly sign-ups and strong retention rates.
The success of the new events programme, including the ever-popular Coffee and Connect, Chamber Online, and the relaunched Let’s Do Business lunches.
An overview of the Chamber’s strengthened marketing and communications efforts, which have increased engagement across digital platforms and raised the Chamber’s visibility locally and beyond.
Updates on strategic partnerships, including work with the Salisbury Place Board, education providers, and local councils.
Outgoing directors were warmly thanked for their service, and the President acknowledged the efforts of the Chamber team — including special thanks to Chamber Administrator Ali for their continued support behind the scenes.
Looking ahead, the Chamber will continue to focus on supporting local business growth, building strong networks, and championing Salisbury as a thriving centre for enterprise.
