Chamber Builds Momentum as Salisbury’s Voice for Business

The Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry continues to build strong momentum this year, with growing membership, vibrant events, and deeper engagement with partners across the city and region.

At the heart of the Chamber’s work is a clear focus: to champion local businesses, strengthen the economy, and support collaboration that drives long-term prosperity for Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

Over recent months, the Chamber has welcomed a wide range of new members across industries – from retail and hospitality to professional services, education, and manufacturing – and has hosted a packed calendar of events, including the popular Coffee and Connect mornings, Let’s Do Business lunches, and the fast-growing Chamber Online sessions.

Beyond networking, the Chamber is also playing a key role in strategic discussions about the future of the city. From its representation on the Salisbury Place Board to its work with education providers, the Chamber ensures that the voice of business is heard in decisions about infrastructure, skills, footfall, and investment.

“Our Chamber is all about connections — between people, between businesses, and between business and place,” said Chamber President Andy North. “We’re proud of what’s been achieved so far this year, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. Whether you’re a start-up, an established company, or a growing team – there’s a place for you here.”

Looking ahead, the Chamber is preparing for several key events including the summer B2B Expo, Education Alliance activity, and the ongoing rollout of the Chamber’s new committee structure to deliver even more focused support in areas like operations, business growth, and strategic influence.

If you’re interested in joining the Chamber, partnering on a project, or attending an upcoming event, we’d love to hear from you.
