Novum Law, the specialist personal injury and medical negligence law firm based in Salisbury, has welcomed a new solicitor to its growing team as demand for its expert legal services increases.
Jessica Ryan, who has just qualified as a solicitor, joins Novum Law’s thriving personal injury team based in Salisbury headed by Director Neil Elliott. She will be a key member of the team working with her colleagues on complex, serious personal injury and medical negligence cases.
Jessica is bilingual having been born and brought up in Toulouse, France. She moved to the UK in 2007 to study law at the University of Exeter, before taking her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of West England.
She is the latest solicitor to join the growing specialist personal injury team at Novum Law’s Salisbury office. The firm opened its doors in Salisbury in 2014 and has gone from strength-to-strength in a short time.
Director Neil Elliott and associate solicitor Josh Hughes have close links to the local Salisbury business community and are Trustees of local brain injury charity Headway Salisbury and South Wiltshire. Neil Elliott has just been elected as Chairman of Headway and Josh Hughes as Secretary for the second year running.
Neil Elliott said: “Our practice is growing and we are working on an increasing number of high value, complex claims which demand a detailed, meticulous approach and a real ‘can do’ attitude. As a young, newly qualified solicitor, Jessica has all the qualities we were looking for coupled with considerable enthusiasm and ambition to develop a rewarding career in personal injury litigation. We are thrilled to recruit our newest member of the team who is a valuable addition to our team on the ground here in Salisbury.”
Jessica added: “I’m excited to be joining Novum Law at a time when the business is expanding so rapidly. Neil and his team have an excellent reputation for securing substantial compensation for clients and pride themselves on the expert legal advice and support they provide. I am looking forward to being a part of that and really making a difference to people’s lives in Salisbury and throughout the country.”
Jessicaa is one of five new solicitors to join Novum Law’s rapidly expanding regional offices across the South of England in the past month. This is the highest number of new solicitor appointments across the firm since 2014 and reflects the ongoing success of the business.
Chief Executive of Novum Law Thomas Sheppard concluded: “Our business model is built on giving our clients a solicitor-led personal service and we need good people to grow our business. We are committed to attracting and retaining talented solicitors who can really make a difference for our clients and at the same time build an interesting and rewarding career for themselves. I’m very much looking forward to seeing Jessica working in her new team in Salisbury"
