This summer, Scrace Architects are running two 1-day intensive workshops geared towards students interested in, or signed up to studying, Architecture, Art or Interior Design at university. The workshop will offer a quick and easy introduction to design and architectural practice providing a simple toolkit and foundation to undergraduate study.
Led by Tim Scrace, an artist and creative practitioner who enjoys documenting spaces and engaging with the environment, the workshop will introduce students to the following key skills:
Alongside theoretical study, students will be given a practical project to complete, enabling them to put their learning into practice. Professional collaborators will also be on hand to offer their expertise and knowledge. This is a not to be missed course for anyone interested in pursuing a creative or construction career path.
The “Architecture Made Simple” podcast to which this seminar is associated offers you a quick and easy guide to design and architectural practice. Check it out here…www.scracearchitects.co.uk
Scrace Architects is a creative consultancy that can help you to see and shape space differently. We work with communities to challenge perspectives, to educate, and to promote better environments and a more sustainable way of life. In line with this philosophy we are donating 25% of fees from the workshop to ALABARE.
At Alabaré we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live a fulfilling life. Our teams provide accommodation and specialist support to help those who have been living in crisis to recover and rebuild the skills and confidence they need to live successful, independent lives once more. We also support vulnerable adults to live independently and enjoy opportunities in the local community.
