Armed Forces Covenant

Due to upcoming events in the Salisbury area in relation to Armed Forces Day, I thought this would be an opportune time to approach local businesses regarding the Armed Forces Covenant.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly. The Covenant is a national responsibility and the Government is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for the Armed Forces community by working with a range of delivery partners including businesses, local authorities, charities and the public.

A Covenant is a written and publicised voluntary pledge from organisations who wish to demonstrate their support to the Armed Forces Community. Businesses can choose specific promises or pledges to support their employees or serving personnel within the armed forces community. Local authorities promise to encourage local communities in supporting the armed forces community, including promoting understanding and awareness. If this is something that interests you then please do contact me and I will arrange a visit to discuss in detail the Armed Forces Covenant and how your business could benefit from demonstrating support to the Armed Forces Community.
