Wiltshire Council are holding back Grant money

It has come to light that the local authorities are withholding some of the Government funding that has been allocated to support business. The Chamber has put together a very short survey and is asking members to take a minute to complete it – anonymously. Our source shows that Wiltshire Council was allocated £10,000,480 from central Government. Wiltshire Council has allocated an average of £1,292.55 between  711 businesses leaving £9,081.480 still in the pot to be distributed. This data was current as of 17th January2021 click hereOnce you have responded to the survey, Salisbury Chamber will be seeking answers about how and when the remainder of the funds will be distributed from Wiltshire Council. The Chamber understands that it is now that businesses need help and support financially.
